It is no secret that one of the best tools for a business professional to possess is a set of golf clubs...and it doesn't matter if you can use them or not. A recent study showed that for each dollar spent on golf, a business person earned over $1500 in return! Golf is an important platform for business culture and relationships, and just being on the course can greatly improve your chance of building a solid network and thus increase your chance of success.
The LBA and CGA invite all Langara College business students to a post-finals round of golf. Your $10 ticket includes an 18-hole round, a free BBQ dinner, and a chance to network with some high profile local employers. Yes, you read correctly...only 10 bucks!!!! So, bring your lucky clubs or rent a set at the course and team up with other business students and our guest employers in a quest to win the longest putt and longest drive challenges. There are some great prizes available for the lucky winners along with a bag full of fantastic gifts just for attending!
Register by sending your Full Name, Business program (i.e. BBA - Finance), Number of tickets required, and your contact info to info@lbawired.ca or come by the main foyer in the A Building to purchase your tickets in person from August 2nd through to the 6th.
